Fruits Basket Meta: Coping With Abuse

I just now joined dreamwidth to post in month_of_meta, so please forgive me for not knowing things like how to hyperlink. I just finished writing some fairly involved meta and I have been looking for a place to post it because it's about a subject close to my heart.

This is a piece I wrote detailing what I see in Fruits Basket. The first is a meta for the whole series, and then I wrote a piece for each character. I know the rules state that this needs to be new, but I finished the set in May. In my experience people don't recognize abuse victims because they don't know what to look for, so I'm happy to have found a place to post these.

Just started reading these, and they look fantastic! I've read all of Fruits Basket but never seen any meta about it, so I'm glad you're digging into this in such detail. The way the series handles abuse is a rich topic to explore.
